Program
The program book (CLICK HERE) for the Catfish 2010 Symposium is now available!
Presentation abstracts are also available (CLICK HERE FOR ABSTRACTS).
The program for the 2nd International Catfish Symposium will provide a forum to exchange the most current information on catfish biology, ecology, management and conservation efforts of interest to conservation biologists, managers of recreational sport fisheries, research scientists, program administrators and restoration experts. Whether you are managing recreational fisheries, investigating population dynamics and community interactions, restoring habitat or working on conservation strategies, this symposium is the best opportunity to present and receive the most up to date information in a single interactive setting.
In an effort to encourage presentation of worldwide catfish work, a unique “international poster option” is being offered for those unable to attend due to exceedingly high travel costs from other continents. These colleagues can present their work in the form of a poster presentation and consider submitting a manuscript for publication in the proceedings.
The conference facilities at the Millennium Hotel in St. Louis are well suited to our symposium format. However, due to limited time and space we will only be able to accommodate up to 80 oral presentations but have reserved additional display space in anticipation of a large number of poster presentations. All submitting authors will need to indicate their preferred presentation option:
1) an oral presentation,
2) a poster presentation,
3) or an oral presentation preferred, but poster acceptable.
If you are ready to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation including those to be considered for publication in the proceedings or under the international poster option, proceed to the Submit an Abstract page and follow the submittal instructions.
